Brandon Graham unsure on Philadelphia Eagles future

Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Brandon Graham believes that he has the ability to remain at the club despite not being a fit in their 3-4 defensive system.

Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Brandon Graham is hopeful that he will remain at the club for the 2014 season but has conceded that he isn't a good fit for their defensive scheme.

The 26-year-old was selected in the first round of the 2010 Draft by the Eagles to fit into their 4-3 scheme, but the system then changed last season when new head coach Chip Kelly brought in the 3-4 method.

Graham has struggled to fit into the new system, but feels that he has enough ability to fulfil a role in the NFL for the Eagles or the other 31 franchises in the league.

He told reporters: "It's just a tricky situation. Hopefully, I'm here. If not, hopefully I can show somebody else that I can definitely get the job done, and that's all I'm trying to do.

"I know I'm not the ideal size and I don't play as good in space as I would like.

"I'm getting better at it, but it's just one of those things where I know I can go get that quarterback, and I know I can play the run good. It's just in space, I'm trying to get a lot better at that."

Graham has recorded 74 tackles and 11.5 sacks in his four seasons in the NFL.
