New York Jets' John Idzik: Our current form is "painful"

New York Jets general manager John Idzik concedes that his side's current run of form is "painful" to watch for everyone connected to the club.

New York Jets general manager John Idzik has admitted that his side's recent form is "painful" to watch as they slipped to their seventh defeat in a row.

The Jets dropped to 1-7 in their campaign as quarterbacks Geno Smith and Michael Vick conspired to turn the ball over six times in their 43-23 defeat to the Buffalo Bills at MetLife Stadium.

"It's painful," Idzik told reporters. "It's particularly painful for our fans. We're in a business where our actions affect so many. Our actions affect Jets Nation."

Rex Ryan's side currently have the second worst record in the NFL, behind only the 0-7 Oakland Raiders.
