Richard Sherman criticises New England Patriots punishment

Seattle Seahawks star Richard Sherman insists that the deflategate punishments were not fair on Tom Brady.

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman has suggested that the New England Patriots should be paying a bigger punishment after deflategate.

Quarterback Tom Brady has been suspended for four games which is worth approximately $2m in salary, while owner Robert Kraft was fined $1m and docked two Draft picks.

"You're fining players more than you're fining organisations?" Sherman told USA Today Sports.

"That should bring up some red flags. But nobody's talking about that."

Sherman reiterated his belief that Kraft got away with his punishment, while Brady was too severely punished.
