Green Bay Packers handed Eddie Lacy boost

The Green Bay Packers are boosted by news that running back Eddie Lacy has returned to training following concussion picked up during their opening-night defeat.

The Green Bay Packers have been handed a boost following news that running back Eddie Lacy has returned to the practice field.

Lacy took a hard knock during Green Bay's opening-night defeat to the Seattle Seahawks and suffered concussion as result, but the back is now looking likely to feature in his side's week two fixture.

The Packers consider Lacy as one of their most important assets and will be thankful of the unusual 10-day gap between the side's two early season fixtures, giving him enough time to recover.

Green Bay take on the New York Jets on Sunday.
