Marvin Lewis vows to continue at Cincinnati Bengals

Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis is adamant that his sixth straight loss in the playoffs will not deter him from returning to the club in the 2015 season.

Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis has insisted that he will return to the club in the 2015 season, despite suffering his sixth straight loss in the playoffs.

Lewis has been with the Bengals since the 2003 campaign and has guided them to the post-season six times during his tenure, but has never been able to record a victory in the playoffs following their defeat to the Indianapolis Colts in the wildcard round on Sunday.

When asked if he would return for the 2015 season, Lewis told reporters: "That's my plan. Tomorrow's not promised for anyone. That's part of life in the NFL and the finality of losing when you lose in the playoffs.

"The only way to do it is to at some point - whoever it is, whatever it will be - to go back to work, put their heads down and kick the door down. That's all you can do. There's no other words about it."

The Bengals will have the 21st pick in the 2015 NFL Draft as a result of their loss to the Colts.
