Sporting Kansas City breezed past the challenge of Portland Timbers courtesy of a 4-1 victory when the teams faced off on Sunday.
Peter Vermes's men trailed to Franck Boli's opener but restored parity before half time through Erik Thommy, after which second-half goals from Daniel Salloi and Felipe Hernandez either side of Larrys Mabiala's own goal completed the turnaround.

With 23 points from 14 matches so far, the Hoops sit fourth in the Western Conference standings, three points adrift of top spot having played one game fewer.

Eighteen-year-old Tarik Scott will not feature again for Dallas this season due to a long-term knee injury which he suffered earlier this year.
