Moira Stuart and Anne-Marie are announced as the next two celebrities competing in this year's Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special.

Broadcasting icon Moira Stuart and singer Anne-Marie have been announced as the next two celebrities taking part in the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special.

The pair join a lineup that also includes Mel Giedroyc, Jay Blades and Fred Sirieix, with the final celebrity due to be announced imminently.

Newsreading veteran Stuart, 72, who has been paired with Aljaz Skorjanec, said: "I'm really looking forward to the Strictly Christmas special. I've loved dancing for as long as I can remember. In fact it even helped me try to keep warm in my early coldwater flat..."

Meanwhile, The Voice's Anne-Marie, 30, has been partnered up with Graziano Di Prima. "I'm excited to take part in the Strictly Christmas special," she said. "I love the show, and who would turn down a dance with Graziano?!"

Strictly Come Dancing's Christmas special will air on BBC One on Christmas Day.
