Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello reportedly decide to part ways for good after an attempt at rekindling their relationship.

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello have reportedly split for good after an attempt at rekindling their relationship.

The pop stars were together for two-and-a-half years but announced at the end of 2021 that they had decided to go their separate ways.

Earlier this year they were spotted kissing at Coachella and have been seen in each other's company multiple times since, but The Sun says that things have now fizzled out.

"Shawn and Camila have a lot of history and they tested the waters again after coming back into each other's lives," a source told the newspaper. "But it was just a fling and they've put an end to it now.

"They realised it was probably a mistake to give things another shot. Things ended between them the first time for a reason, after all.

"In reality, both of them know they aren't right for each other romantically and now they just want to move on."

Earlier this week Mendes dropped new single 'What The Hell Are We Dying For', a song about climate change with cover art depicting the wildfires currently raging in Canada.
