Five Hollyoaks stars are to appear on a special week of Come Dine With Me to mark the soap's 25th anniversary.

The episodes will air between Monday, October 19 and Friday, October 23 on E4, with the final timed to coincide with 25 years to the day that the show first aired on Channel 4.

The five stars taking part on the show are Gary Lucy (Luke Morgan), Ruby O'Donnell (Peri Lomax), Rishi Nair (Sami Maalik), Jorgie Porter (the returning Theresa McQueen) and Jeremy Edwards (the also-returning-or-is-he Kurt Benson).

The competition was filmed before the coronavirus lockdown and features Lucy throwing an American-themed bash, Porter offering up "cordon bleu beans on toast" and Edwards preparing homemade sushi.

Hollyoaks is planning a week of explosive episodes to coincide with its milestone birthday, while E4 will rebroadcast the first ever episode on the day itself.
