Jeremy Edwards to return to Hollyoaks for 25th anniversary

Jeremy Edwards is to reprise his role as Kurt Benson on Hollyoaks for the soap's upcoming 25th anniversary.

Jeremy Edwards is to reprise his role as Kurt Benson for Hollyoaks' upcoming 25th anniversary episodes.

The 49-year-old was one of the original cast members when the soap launched in 1995 and left in early 1999, with Kurt subsequently being killed in a jetskiing accident off screen.

Kurt last appeared in 2013 as a vision to best friend Tony (Nick Pickard) but when he shows up at the restaurant in episodes airing in a few weeks, will it be another vision or is he actually alive?

Tony's current storyline has seen him manipulated - and drugged - by his evil dad, leaving him on the brink of divorce and living alone in a caravan.

Edwards will be seen as Kurt in a new Hollyoaks 25th anniversary trailer being released tomorrow.
