The 1975 to headline Glastonbury 2024?

The 1975 to headline Glastonbury 2024?
The 1975 are reportedly hoping to headline the Glastonbury Festival next summer.

The 1975 are reportedly hoping to be one of the headliners at the Glastonbury Festival next summer.

The four-piece rockers - headed up by Matt Healy - have previously played the world-famous event three times, albeit not on the Pyramid Stage.

A source told The Sun: "The 1975 have wanted to play Glasto for a couple of years and feel they're more than ready for the Pyramid stage.

"The Arctic Monkeys were booked for this year so it wasn't possible for them to be on the lineup.

"Glasto boss Emily Eavis is keen to have them on board too.

"Fans will have to wait until this time next year to get the official nod on it but it's pretty much a done deal."

This year's festival takes place from June 21 to June 25, with Sir Elton John and Guns 'N Roses joining the Arctics as headliners.
