Andy Murray to play lucky loser at Wimbledon

World number one Andy Murray will face a qualifier in the first round at this year's Wimbledon.

Defending champion Andy Murray has been drawn to play lucky loser Sasha Bublik in the first round at this year's Wimbledon.

The world number one remains a doubt for the tournament with a sore hip, but if he takes to court on Monday afternoon he will meet a player who has already come through three matches at Roehampton.

On paper, Murray has been given a favourable draw as Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer are both in the other half, but he could still have to face Dustin Brown, Fabio Fognini, Nick Kyrgios, Stanislas Wawrinka and Rafael Nadal to reach the final at SW19.

Seven-time champion Federer will meet Alexandr Dolgopolov, Djokovic goes head to head with Martin Klizan, while Nadal faces Australia's John Millman.

Kyle Edmund - who has never won a match at Wimbledon - will play fellow Brit and world number 855 Alexander Ward, while Aljaz Bedene has been given a tough test against the big-serving Ivo Karlovic

British wildcard Cameron Norrie - who is making his first appearance at the tournament - has been handed a debut contest with Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Brydan Klein meets Yuichi Sugita, while James Ward goes up against Marcos Baghdatis.
