Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay has admitted that his Scotland debut will be the fulfilment of a lifelong dream.
Though the 21-year-old was born in England, he has Scottish ancestry through his father.
McTominay subsequently announced his intention to <a href="/football/man-utd/news/mctominay-to-make-scotland-bow-this-month_320468.html">declare for Scotland</a> earlier this month following a meeting with Alex McLeish.
The Lancaster-born player is in contention to make his international debut on Friday against Costa Rica and he admits that his family is tremendously proud of his call-up.
