Joe Hart to be rested for semi-final

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed that goalkeeper Joe Hart will not feature in Wednesday's Capital One Cup semi-final second leg against Everton at the Etihad Stadium.

The England number one will be rested for the fixture, with City <a href="/football/man-city/league-cup/result/result-lukaku-hands-everton-first-leg-lead_263667.html">trailing 2-1</a> from the first leg.

"Willy Caballero will probably start the next two games," Pellegrini told reporters. "One of the important reasons why Joe Hart improves a lot is because he has competition. Willy deserves to play these games."
