Wednesday's Serie A predictions including Cagliari vs. Juventus

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Wednesday's Serie A matches including Cagliari vs. Juventus.

Lazio vs. Brescia (Wednesday, 6.30pm)

Lazio head into their final two Serie A fixtures of the season knowing that maximum points could secure second place in the standings.

Despite their relegation to Serie B, Brescia make the trip to Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday evening looking for the win which would ensure that they avoid finishing in bottom spot.

We say: Lazio 4-0 Brescia

Despite the disappointment of missing out on the Serie A title, do not expect any let-up from Lazio. Inzaghi's side were superb at the weekend, and we are backing the home side to cruise to victory over their struggling opponents.

Sassuolo vs. Genoa (Wednesday, 6.30pm)

Sassuolo head into Wednesday's encounter with Genoa looking to end a four-match winless streak in Serie A.

Meanwhile, Genoa make the trip to the Mapei Stadium knowing that three points will ensure that they are playing top-flight football next season.

We say: Sassuolo 2-1 Genoa

Despite their contrasting fortunes this season, this has the makings of being a closely-fought battle. However, we feel that Sassuolo will just about have enough to see off opponents who may be torn between trying to gain a point and pushing for all three.

Udinese vs. Lecce (Wednesday, 6.30pm)

Lecce have two matches remaining to save themselves from the Serie A drop, starting with Wednesday evening's trip to rejuvenated Udinese.

The Giallorossi are four points adrift of safety with two games to go, while Udinese have put their relegation concerns behind them with back-to-back wins.

We say: Udinese 1-0 Lecce

Udinese turned a corner with their win over Juventus and can now look up the table rather than down at the relegation zone. Lecce need three points from this match but have won just two away games since September, so we can see their fate being confirmed in midweek.

Sampdoria vs. AC Milan (Wednesday, 6.30pm)

AC Milan will be looking to continue their strong end to the season when they travel to lowly Sampdoria on Wednesday evening.

Sixth-placed Milan have gone 10 games without defeat since returning to action last month, whereas Sampdoria have had a mixed time of things on the results front and are down in 15th.

We say: Sampdoria 0-1 AC Milan

The sides played out an uneventful goalless draw when they last met six months ago. Milan have improved massively since then and enter this match unbeaten in seven away matches - a run that we are backing them to extend with three more points on Wednesday.

Hellas Verona vs. SPAL (Wednesday, 6.30pm)

Hellas Verona will be looking to bounce back from a heavy defeat last time out when they take on bottom side SPAL in their final home game of the Serie A campaign.

The Gialloblu were thrashed 5-1 by Lazio and are now jostling for position just outside the European spots, while SPAL picked up a rare point against Torino in their last outing.

We say: Hellas Verona 1-0 SPAL

SPAL have avoided defeat in just 10 of their 36 matches this season and were thumped 6-1 by Roma a week ago. While Verona have dropped off the pace in recent weeks, this is the ideal fixture for them to return to winning ways and end their home campaign on a high.

Fiorentina vs. Bologna (Wednesday, 8.45pm)

Two clubs with little to play for in Serie A will lock horns on Wednesday as Fiorentina welcome fellow mid-table side Bologna to the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

Only three points separate the teams in the table heading into the penultimate round of fixtures, with Fiorentina in 12th while Bologna lie 10th after 36 matches.

We say: Fiorentina 2-1 Bologna

Both Fiorentina and Bologna will already be looking ahead to next season and have nothing to fear heading into the final stretch. That being said, Fiorentina boast a strong recent record against Bologna and were unfortunate to come away from their meeting with Roma empty-handed, so we are going for a narrow home victory.

Cagliari vs. Juventus (Wednesday, 8.45pm)

Juventus are in action for the first time since being crowned Serie A champions as they travel to Cagliari in their final away match of the season.

The Bianconeri won a ninth successive Scudetto with a 2-0 win over Sampdoria on Sunday and will now be looking to keep their momentum going against bottom-half opponents Cagliari.

We say: Cagliari 0-2 Juventus

Juventus have failed to win any of their last three away matches, but they are taking on a side with just one win in their last 10 home games. Indeed, Cagliari cannot seem to pick up a victory of any sort at the moment, so we are backing Juve to claim all three points and build some momentum ahead of the Champions League restart.

Torino vs. Roma (Wednesday, 8.45pm)

Roma will be looking to build on their weekend victory over Fiorentina when they travel to Torino on Wednesday for the penultimate round of Serie A fixtures.

Meanwhile, Torino secured their safety in the top flight last time out as they shared the spoils in 1-1 draw with already-relegated SPAL.

We say: Torino 1-3 Roma

Torino boast a respectable record at home following Serie A's resumption and have little to fear with their safety guaranteed, but the only way is up for Roma at the moment and we are backing Fonseca's side to march to their third victory in a row on Wednesday.
