Sunday's Serie A predictions including Juventus vs. Bologna

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Sunday's Serie A fixtures, including Juventus vs. Bologna.

After claiming the season's first silverware on Wednesday night, Juventus await the visit of lowly Bologna on Sunday, aiming to get their Scudetto defence back on track.

Having lifted the Supercoppa Italiana following victory over Napoli, sixth-placed Juve will now seek to recover from a chastening defeat to Inter Milan last time out in Serie A.

We say: Juventus 2-0 Bologna

There can be little evidence to present a case for anything other than a home win in Turin this Sunday - particularly as Bologna tend to wilt away from their beloved Emilian base.

This encounter could prove an opportunity for Alvaro Morata to get back on the scoresheet and finally nail down a definitive spot in Andrea Pirlo's first-choice selection.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Genoa vs. Cagliari (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Genoa will host Cagliari on Sunday hoping to extend their unbeaten home run to four matches, which would prove to be their longest run in Serie A since March 2019.

Meanwhile, the visitors are enduring a difficult run of form which has seen them lose their last five top-flight matches in a row.

We say: Genoa 2-0 Cagliari

Another defeat for Cagliari could be the end for head coach Di Francesco, whose tenure seems to be hanging by a thread. Genoa have recently turned a corner since reappointing Ballardini and with confidence and belief restored, the home side should do enough to secure the three points on Sunday.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Hellas Verona vs. Napoli (Sunday, 2.00pm)

To end a week of highs and lows, Napoli visit mid-table Hellas Verona on Sunday, set on securing their spot among Serie A's top four.

Two sides with the best defensive records in the league meet at Stadio Bentegodi currently separated by seven places and six points in the standings.

We say: Hellas Verona 0-1 Napoli

As the two tightest defences in Italy share the field, the odds on a high-scoring thriller are slim - though Napoli do harbour the capacity to blow opponents away when in top gear.

With Hirving Lozano and Lorenzo Insigne in peak form - and forward colleague Dries Mertens back on the scene - it is surely the visitors that should be favoured to leave Verona with maximum points.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Lazio vs. Sassuolo (Sunday, 5.00pm)

Close rivals in the race for a European place, seventh-placed Lazio welcome Sassuolo - currently eighth - to Stadio Olimpico on Sunday evening.

Separated by only one point in the Serie A standings, the sides have experienced contrasting fortunes over the past fortnight.

We say: Lazio 2-0 Sassuolo

A clear sense of momentum is definitely building in the Lazio camp, with an admirable series of wins since the start of the year.

Considering, too, several injury absences suffered by a thin Sassuolo squad, the Aquile's increasing defensive solidity should provide the platform for them to spring their attack-focused opponents on the break.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Parma vs. Sampdoria (Sunday, 7.45pm)

After a spirit-sapping run of five straight defeats was finally ended last week, Parma entertain mid-table Sampdoria at the Tardini on Sunday, aiming to clamber out of the Serie A drop zone.

Meanwhile, Samp travel to Emilia-Romagna buoyed by two wins from their last three outings, which sees them just inside the top half of the table.

We say: Parma 1-1 Sampdoria

Demonstrating a greater resolve since the return of Roberto D'Aversa to the dugout, Parma can defy the odds - and injury list - to pick up a second successive league point.

This Sampdoria side's results have been scattergun so far and they have only won once on the road since October, so could slip up against defiant opposition at the Tardini.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
