Filming on the next series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins has reportedly been thrown into chaos with an unprecedented six celebs having to pull out in a short time frame.

Even though the show is currently airing every Sunday on Channel 4, filming has already taken place on next year's edition in Thailand for broadcast in late 2023.

According to The Sun, the show has been plagued with a series of horrific injuries that has seen around half the cast forced to withdraw on medical grounds.

The newspaper says that The Wanted singer Siva Kaneswaran, former footballer Jermaine Pennant and Paralympic cycler Jon-Allan Butterworth all passed out during a marching challenge and were not fit enough to return to the competition.

Love Island star Montana Brown and rugby legend Gareth Thomas were then discharged after sustaining knee and hamstring injuries respectively, while doctors said that TOWIE's James Argent could not continue after he contracted "trench foot and jungle rot".

A source told the newspaper: "They are celebrities, not soldiers. They aren't used to the hot, harsh conditions and being pushed to their limits.

"The people who fell ill and were injured were not unfit or out of shape.

"Siva, Jermain and Jon-Allan are all fit blokes but all individually blacked out and had heat stroke.

"James's issues with his feet were awful too. He was in agony as the infection took hold because of the wet boots and he could suffer for months now."

The current series continues Sundays at 9pm on Channel 4.
