'80s icon Sinitta and former Hollyoaks star Gary Lucy reportedly agree to appear in the new series of E4's Celebs Go Dating.

'80s music icon Sinitta and former Hollyoaks star Gary Lucy have reportedly signed up to appear on the new series of E4's returning dating format Celebs Go Dating.

The popular show, which sees famous faces matched up with members of the public by a team of dating experts, is known for attracting left-field names - with the likes of Ulrika Jonsson, Lady Colin Campbell and Mutya Buena having previously appeared.

Now The Sun says that producers have convinced Sinitta - known for being an ex of Simon Cowell - and Lucy, who bowed out of Hollyoaks earlier this year, to hand over their love lives to the show experts.

"They are both really excited about getting involved," a source told the newspaper.

"[Sinitta] wants a man who can sweep her off her feet and is hoping that the producers can find her some decent blokes.

"Gary is as open minded and is looking forward to meeting his potential dates.

"He has found dating hard in the past and signed up for the experience as well as hopefully finding his perfect match."

The new series is due to be filmed this autumn for broadcast on E4 in early 2023.
