Rylan Clark-Neal's estranged husband Dan is working on a new dating show just months after their shock split.

Rylan Clark-Neal's estranged husband Dan Neal is working on a new dating show called Dates with Mates, just months after the couple announced their break-up.

In the show, which will air on the W channel, four single friends will sit down together for dinner - and with every course, each one of them will meet a new male or female date.

At the end of the episode all of the dates will return to the room to see if any matches are on the cards.

"Dates may come and go, while friends are there for the long haul. But that doesn't stop us looking for love again... and again," said Neal, who now works as a TV producer.

"In this show, we date with our friends by our side and I can't wait to help play Cupid."

Rylan and Dan announced their shock split last summer after eight years together.
