Katie Price reportedly drops out of Celebrity Cooking School at the last moment.

Katie Price has reportedly dropped out of E4 reality show Celebrity Cooking School just before filming was due to start.

The show features Michelin-starred chef Giorgio Locatelli attempting to teach a group of famous faces the very basics of cooking.

Former glamour model Price, 44, is thought to have agreed a "five-figure sum" to be part of the lineup, which would have entailed a maximum of two weeks' filming.

According to The Sun, however, Price has thrown a spanner in the works by pulling out at the last moment.

"Katie was a big signing for Celebrity Cooking School so it was hugely disappointing when she dropped out," a source told the newspaper.

"It had all been given the green light for filming but at the last moment Katie said she would not commit.

"Her decision to pull out has caused a major headache for the show's production team as they have been tasked with pulling in a replacement at the last moment.

"They are sure the show will be a hit without Katie but there is no doubt it is a big loss to their lineup."

The new series is due to air on E4 later this year.
