Tilly Ramsay reveals that she has tested positive for coronavirus, ruling her out from appearing during this weekend's Strictly Come Dancing final.

Tilly Ramsay has revealed that she will be unable to appear at this weekend's Strictly Come Dancing final after testing positive for coronavirus.

The 20-year-old and her pro partner Nikita Kuzmin were one of the most popular couples on this year's series, making it through to week 10 and a sixth-placed finish.

All of this year's pairings had been expected to be in attendance for the grand final this Saturday but Ramsay has now confirmed that she has been forced out.

In a post on Instagram, she told her followers: "So sad to be missing the Strictly final - but sadly have tested positive for covid.

"Will be watching from my sofa and cheering on the amazing finalists from home on Saturday night - wishing everyone lots of love & good luck x Tilly."

The Strictly final airs on Saturday night on BBC One, when either AJ Odudu, John Whaite or Rose Ayling-Ellis will be crowned the winner.
