Rylan Clark-Neal will return to TV work next month after a lengthy time-out to deal with the break-up of his marriage.

Rylan Clark-Neal is to return to work for the first time in almost four months when Strictly Come Dancing - It Takes Two begins a new series next month.

The 32-year-old began his break in May, dropping out of commitments including Eurovision and his Radio 2 show, as he dealt with the break-up of his marriage.

According to The Sun, however, Clark-Neal is now ready to get back to the coalface and will return as co-host of the Strictly spinoff on BBC Two at the end of September.

"Rylan's spent time away from the spotlight focusing on his wellbeing surrounded by friends and family," a source told the newspaper.

"He's now hopefully ready to make his return to telly as he's missed working.

"It's all looking positive and the team at It Takes Two always have a lot of fun filming. It's a joyful show to work on.

"Of course, everyone backstage wants what's best for Rylan and aren't putting pressure on him."

Clark-Neal will be joined on the new series by Janette Manrara, who is taking over from Zoe Ball after she stepped down earlier this year.
