Love Island winner Greg O'Shea says that he would "absolutely love" to compete on Strictly Come Dancing.

Love Island winner Greg O'Shea has set his sights on earning a spot on a future series of Strictly Come Dancing.

The 26-year-old, who won the 2019 edition of the dating show with Amber Gill, is a fitness fanatic and last year represented Ireland in the Rugby 7s at the Tokyo Olympics.

Asked about his future ambitions, he told The Mirror: "I would absolutely love to do Strictly Come Dancing.

"I'm not saying I'm a good dancer, but I would love to do it. I just think it would be so much craic.

"I've always wanted to do dancing lessons. So, maybe someday they'll give me that call."

No former Love Island contestant has yet to appear on Strictly, although presenter Laura Whitmore and late former host Caroline Flack both previously took part in the show.
