John Whaite reveals that he believes there are only four possible male partners for him on this year's Strictly Come Dancing.

John Whaite has revealed that he thinks there are four potential partners for him on this year's Strictly Come Dancing.

The chef will become one half of the show's first ever male-male pairing when he takes to the dancefloor later this month and is expecting a tall pro to partner him.

"There are four lads who I think are tall enough for me to dance with," he said on Steph's Packed Lunch today.

"There's Graziano [Di Prima], Kai [Widdrington], Johannes [Radebe] and Aljaz [Skorjanec]. They're the four who I think are tall enough for me, but they might give me a shorter dancer and put him in heels.

"I'm really hoping I get to do a dance in heels!"

Whaite will discover the identity of his pro partner this Saturday when the launch show is pre-recorded at the Strictly studio.

The launch show will then air on BBC One on September 18 before the live shows kick off a week later.
