Jason Bell "gutted" by early Strictly Come Dancing exit

Ex-NFL star Jason Bell says that he is "gutted" to have become the second celebrity eliminated for this year's Strictly Come Dancing.

Former NFL player Jason Bell has admitted that he is "gutted" at being voted off Strictly Come Dancing over the weekend.

The 42-year-old and his partner Luba Mushtuk became the second couple to be eliminated from this year's series after failing to impress with their paso doble to the Star Wars theme tune.

Taking to Instagram after he was voted off, Bell wrote: "Thanks for having us Strictly! We're obviously gutted to be leaving but it's been an incredible experience, which will live with me forever.

"The support and kindness shown from you - the Strictly community - has been overwhelming. The fantastic team that work tirelessly behind the scenes to deliver the show have been a joy to work with.

"Then there's Luba - my Team No-Breaks partner - who I've had such a blast with. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

"Good luck to everyone in the coming weeks."

The 10 remaining couples will take to the dancefloor again when Strictly continues this Saturday at 7.10pm on BBC One.
