Helen Skelton is reportedly in the frame to take over from Rylan Clark on Strictly Come Dancing - It Takes Two.

Helen Skelton is reportedly in talks about taking over as co-host on Strictly Come Dancing - It Takes Two.

Last week Rylan Clark announced his decision to leave the popular spinoff show, with execs confirming that a new co-host will be brought in to work alongside Janette Manrara.

According to The Mirror, Skelton - finalist on last year's main series - has emerged as an early frontrunner for the position.

"Not only is Helen a very experienced and popular presenter, she captured Strictly fans last year with her warmth and charisma," a source told the newspaper.

"She was also a hit with the team, from the top bosses to the make-up teams, production and the crew.

"The pro dancers all know her and as a former contestant, she knows what the celebrities are going through. It seems like she could be a perfect fit for us."

Strictly is due to return for its 21st series in September.
