Graziano Di Prima says that he would be keen to be part of Strictly Come Dancing's rumoured male pairing.

Strictly Come Dancing pro Graziano Di Prima has said that he would jump at the chance to become part of the show's first all-male pairing.

The BBC ballroom contest introduced its first same-sex couple last year as boxing champion Nicola Adams was paired with Katya Jones, although they were forced to withdraw after a few weeks due to a coronavirus scare.

Producers are expected to follow that up with a first male-male partnership this year and Di Prima, who joined the show in 2017, would be keen to take on the challenge.

"They are just rumours," he told OK! magazine. "We don't know.... [but] if it happens, I'm more than happy.

"Dancing is for everyone and I'd be more than ready for it, but we will have to see."

The new series is due to begin in September, with rumoured contestants including Line of Duty actor Gregory Piper, Good Morning Britain weatherman Alex Beresford and Westlife singer Mark Feehily.
