Katie Price's son Harvey 'gets weight down to under 28 stone'

Katie Price's disabled son Harvey is reportedly making encouraging progress in his battle to lose weight.

Katie Price's son Harvey Price is reportedly making progress with his new fitness regime and now weighs less than 28 stone.

The 18-year-old suffers from Prader-Willi syndrome, which can cause significant weight gain - and in Harvey's case, he tipped the scales at almost 29 stone last year.

Doctors warned Katie that he would need to start losing weight fast in order to avoid serious health complications and he has since started a new regime of diet and exercise.

"Harvey is losing weight and continues to," Katie's rep told The Sun.

"Katie kick-started Harvey's weight loss and has made specific changes in diet and lifestyle that have directly helped Harvey in losing weight.

"Katie recently visited the local chicken farm in support of the local farm trade to buy eggs for Harvey's healthy breakfast of egg and soldiers, a well balanced start to any young man's day.

"Harvey has lost over half a stone, Katie has her sights set on Harvey losing his first stone, a landmark, the first in many to go."

Katie recently revealed that later this year Harvey, who also has autism, will be put into a specialist college care setting in order to help his development.
