Katie Price has insisted that no-one will be able to "destroy" her happiness again following a tumultuous few years.
The 43-year-old battled cocaine addiction, dealt with a relationship breakup, found out her mother was terminally ill and was declared bankrupt all in the space of a couple of years.
Price turned her life around in 2020, however, getting engaged to a new man and going sober, although things took a horrific twist last week as she was the victim of an alleged assault in her own home.
Police arrested a man in his 30s, who cannot be named for legal reasons, on suspicion of attacking her as well as taking her £50,000 engagement ring.
In a poignant interview with Simon Thomas for his Life, Interrupted podcast series - recorded in April but released this week - Price described herself as being "in a good place".
Asked what advice she would give to her younger self, she replied: "There's two actually. I would say find out more about people before you work with them, and when it comes to men just don't jump into relationships and rush things, take your time.
"Other than that I can't knock my career. It's taken me to places around the world that lots of job experiences I've done, I love what I do, I love doing reality, I love doing my books, I love meeting people and I love creating products for people, and I'm just going to carry on like that.
"I'm happy and I'm in a good place and no-one is ever going to come near to destroy that again."
Price is currently said to be taking time to herself following her traumatic ordeal.
