Virtual Comic-Con confirms Walking Dead panels

AMC confirms panels for The Walking Dead at the first ever virtual San Diego Comic-Con.

AMC has confirmed a series of panels for The Walking Dead for the first ever virtual San Diego Comic-Con next month.

The coronavirus pandemic has forced the annual convention to go online-only between July 23 and 26, with panels being streamed for free.

The first panel is for the main The Walking Dead show and the 10th season finale 'A Certain Doom', which is airing as a standalone episode later in the year. The Talking Dead's Chris Hardwick will moderate, with cast members attending including Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Lauren Cohan, Josh McDermitt, Ross Marquand and Paola Lazaro, alongside showrunner Angela Kang and exec producer/director Greg Nicotero.

Hardwick will also oversee the panel for Fear The Walking Dead, with a preview of the upcoming sixth season with cast members Lennie James, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Colman Domingo, Danay Garcia, Karen David, Jenna Elfman and Ruben Blades.

AMC will also present panels for new spinoff The Walking Dead: World Beyond and vampire series NOS4A2.

Dates and times for the panels have yet to be confirmed.
