'The Simpsons' want Harry and Meghan for cameo

The Simpsons producer Al Jean reveals that the show is keen to sign up Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for cameo roles.

The Simpsons are keen to sign up Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for cameo roles on the show now that they are no longer working royals.

The couple recently dropped royal duties in order to move to Canada, where they aim to forge out a lucrative career in the entertainment industry.

Markle worked as a TV actress before she married into the Royal family, and last year Harry was overheard telling the head of Disney that his wife is available for voiceover work.

The Simpsons producer Al Jean told The Sun: "We've talked about Harry and Meghan. I hear she wants to do voiceover work. So if they're reading this, give us a call!"

The long-running animation has featured cameos from hundreds of celebrities over the last three decades, including Meryl Streep, Paul McCartney and Glenn Close.
