Roman Kemp, Martin Kemp land bumper pay packet for new ITV show

Roman Kemp and father Martin Kemp are said to be pocketing around £450,000 for their new ITV Sunday daytime show.

Roman Kemp and Martin Kemp will reportedly pocket around £450,000 for their upcoming ITV series Sunday Best.

The father-and-son duo will front the new daytime series, which will feature celebrity guests and games and is being billed as a direct rival to Channel 4's long-running Sunday Brunch.

"When they signed up to present their new show, their management went hard on negotiations and they've walked away with a very attractive package," a source told The Sun.

"There are 22 episodes pencilled in for Martin and Roman so far and for each hour-long show they will be paid £10,000 each. The package includes their expenses as well as their base pay but it's not bad for so little work.

"With the ongoing situation, filming has been up in the air but the deal is done and the lads are looking forward to getting on with the show."

The new show is expected to air later this year - most likely in the autumn - on ITV.
