The 46-year-old featured as a judge on the 2018 series of The X Factor and is now setting his sights on emulating Simon Cowell with his own TV concepts.

"There is a lot of lovely stuff happening and I have got so many boxes to tick," the 'Rock DJ' singer told fans on an Instagram Live session. "There is a new avenue that I am moving into - TV. I am very, very excited about it.

"I hope we go back to normal soon because I have got so many TV ideas that I wanna do - a myriad, a smorgasbord.

"There is literally so many. I have got five in the works right now. It is such an early stage I daren't talk about it."

Williams will reunite with his former Take That bandmates for a virtual gig this Friday with the aim of raising money for concert crew members who have been adversely affected by the coronavirus shutdown.
