Mel C: 'There will definitely be more Spice Girls shows'

Mel C reveals that she believes the Spice Girls will "definitely" reunite for more live dates following their successful 2019 tour.

Mel C has revealed that she believes the Spice Girls will reunite again for more live dates following their successful 2019 tour.

Four of the five members of the iconic girl group - Mel C, Mel B, Emma and Geri but not Victoria - embarked upon a 13-date tour of the UK and Ireland last summer, including three sold-out shows at Wembley.

Almost 700,000 people attended the tour, reportedly earning the four-piece £66 million and leading to speculation that the girls could reunite again to take the show worldwide.

"We had the best time last year," Mel C told Buzzfeed. "The shows were incredible. The audiences were insane. People came from the US, all over the world. Every night there were so many international flags.

"Us girls, we still talk. We have our phones. We talk about opportunities. Tricky, tricky times, but I like to think in the future there will definitely be more Spice shows."

The Spice Girls are the best-selling female group in history, having sold more than 85 million records worldwide, and were the first act to have their first six singles all go to number one in the UK charts.
