KUWTK 'will not cover Kanye West's bipolar episode'

The new season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians will reportedly not reference Kanye West's battle with bipolar disorder.

The new season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians will reportedly not cover the erratic events of Kanye West's life over the last few weeks.

The rapper - husband of Kim Kardashian - is believed to be in the middle of a serious episode of bipolar disorder, having decided to run for president as a member of 'The Birthday Party' earlier this month.

Kanye has also gone on a number of bizarre Twitter rants in recent days, accusing his mother-in-law Kris Jenner of being a "white supremacist" and claiming that he has been attempting to divorce Kim for some time.

For Kim's part, she has issued a statement urging the public to bear with Kanye as he battles bipolar disorder and according to TMZ, she has also insisted that the events are not documented on KUWTK.

The website says that filming on the show is continuing throughout the ongoing saga with Kanye but it is not being referenced and they are "simply following other storylines right now".

The 18th season of KUWTK was forced to go on hiatus in April due to the coronavirus pandemic but new episodes are expected to air from September.
