Jake Quickenden, James Cracknell 'sign up for Celebrity SAS'

Jake Quickenden and James Cracknell are reportedly the first two contestants to sign up for Channel 4's Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

Reality star Jake Quickenden and Olympic rower James Cracknell have reportedly signed up to appear in the new series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

The show, which sees celebrities take on a version of an SAS acceptance course under the watch of Ant Middleton, has previously put the likes of Joey Essex, Ben Foden, Katie Price and Anthea Turner through their paces.

According to The Sun, former X Factor and I'm A Celebrity star Quickenden, 32, and 48-year-old Cracknell - two-time Olympic gold-winner and competitor on The Island with Bear Grylls - are the first two famous faces to sign up for the next series.

"James and Jake are super-fit and should do well given their past pursuits in challenging TV shows," a source told the newspaper.

"Bosses are keen to have people who won't collapse at the first hurdle."

The new series is expected to be filmed later this year for broadcast on Channel 4 early next year.
