Glee's Matthew Morrison gives cryptic response over Lea Michele

Matthew Morrison refuses to come to the defence of his Glee co-star Lea Michele amid allegations of her poor behind-the-scenes behaviour.

Glee star Matthew Morrison has refused to speak directly about the allegations surrounding his former co-star Lea Michele.

The actress has been accused by a string of people of bad behind-the-scenes behaviour while working on the music drama series and other productions, with Glee's Heather Morris admitting that Michele was "unpleasant to work with".

Morrison played Mr Schu on Glee for six years opposite Michele and, when asked for his take on the situation, failed to defend her and instead stressed the importance of being a "pleasant person".

"I honestly think it's a distraction of the bigger issues that are going on right now," he told FUBAR Radio.

"You want to be a good, pleasant person to be around. That's about all I'm going to say on that."

Michele issued an apology after the first of the allegations against her came to light last month but has maintained a social media silence since.
