Girls actress Jemima Kirke has joined the cast of Sex Education for its upcoming third season.

The 35-year-old will play the part of the sexy new head teacher at Moordale High, taking over from Mr Groff (Alistair Petrie).

"The arrival of a sexy woman as head will sensationalise pupils who are more used to a stern middle-aged man running the show," a source told The Sun.

"But she will prove to be a formidable figure and add to a cast already filled with strong female roles."

Filming on the new season finally got underway in the Wye Valley earlier this month after a significant production delay caused by coronavirus.
