Bugzy Malone latest: Rapper "stable" after quad bike crash

Manchester rapper Bugzy Malone is "stable" in hospital after a serious road accident earlier in the week.

Manchester rapper Bugzy Malone is said to be "stable" in hospital after suffering a serious quad bike crash earlier this week.

The 29-year-old came off his bike while seemingly travelling at high speed near Bury on Wednesday night, with shocking footage released on social media showing the build-up and aftermath of the crash.

Malone's management released a statement on Twitter confirming that the musician has been hospitalised and is undergoing further assessment of his injuries, which have not been confirmed.

The statement read: "I can now confirm that @TheBugzyMalone is in a stable condition. He remains in hospital whilst being monitored and assessed. He would love privacy for him and his family while recovering so let us leave him at peace until stable enough to make a comeback on social media ❤️

"It's been a very craaazy last 24hrs which was not obviously intended & shows how quick life can turn. I just wanted to say to everyone who has wished and prayed for bugzy & anyone in general, stay safe and keep healthy, keep your loved ones close and live your life! Thank You "

The person who posted footage of a distressed Malone to social media, in a post entitled "Bugzy malone wrapped up big time in Bury", has received an online backlash for distributing the images.
