Gillian Anderson has confirmed that she will appear at a special reunion panel for The X-Files at Comic-Con.

The panel will celebrate 20 years since the cult sci-fi drama, which starred David Duchovny and Anderson as agents Mulder and Scully, premiered on Fox.

The Thursday session also includes creator Chris Carter, plus writers/producers David Amann, Vince Gilligan, Howard Gordon, Darin Morgan, Glen Morgan, John Shiban and Jim Wong. Duchovny has yet to confirm his presence at the panel.

The X-Files ended its nine-season run in 2001 but returned for a second feature film in 2008.
