Kym Marsh admits that she is in talks with her former Hear'Say bandmates about a reunion project this year.

Kym Marsh has confirmed that she is in touch with her former Hear'Say bandmates about reuniting for their 20th anniversary this year.

The pop group were formed on the ITV series Popstars in 2001 and went on to have hits including 'Pure and Simple' and 'The Way To Your Love' but split after less than two years together.

Last year it emerged that Marsh, Noel Sullivan, Suzanne Shaw, Myleene Klass and Danny Foster had been in contact with each other during the first coronavirus lockdown and now Marsh has admitted that some kind of reunion may be in the works.

"We're now in a position where we're all in touch," she told The Sun. "We've been chatting over Zoom and reminiscing about old times.

"Talking about it all again, remembering what a journey it was that we've all been on, brings it all back. If I hadn't been on that show I probably wouldn't be sat here chatting to you now.

"So it's worth celebrating and marking it and we're all agreed it would be great to do something to celebrate.

"Whether that's with all five of us or not, we hope we'll make it happen and make something of the occasion."

Previous reports have suggested that Klass, who now works as a radio presenter, has declined to be part of any potential reunion.
