Jess Glynne reportedly inks a deal with Jay-Z's Roc Nation label which could help launch her career in the States.

Jess Glynne has reportedly inked a lucrative new deal with Jay-Z's Roc Nation label in the States.

Earlier this year it emerged that the singer, who boasts seven UK number ones to her name, had parted ways with Atlantic Records as she begins work on her third album.

According to The Sun, the 32-year-old has recently been in Los Angeles to agree a move to Roc Nation, which also has the likes of Rihanna and Willow on its roster.

"There is no doubt that Jess is a force to be reckoned with in British music. Her songs have been wildly successful," a source told the newspaper.

"But there hasn't been a massive pick-up outside Europe. Now she feels like it is the time to branch out.

"She wanted to change up her sound and people should expect something different from her when she returns.

"But given her obvious talents when it comes to singing and songwriting, Roc Nation is confident there are even bigger and better things on the horizon for Jess."

Glynne's repertoire of number ones includes 'Rather Be', 'Hold My Hand' and 'Don't Be So Hard On Yourself'.
