Sony Pictures confirms the digital and Blu-ray release dates for Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Spider-Man: No Way Home will be released on home media next month, Sony Pictures has announced.

The epic movie was released worldwide before Christmas to a phenomenal reception and currently ranks as the sixth highest-grossing film of all time, bringing in box office receipts of over $1.8 billion (£1.4 billion) despite the coronavirus pandemic.

The shock success of the film in cinemas meant that Sony pushed back its home media release - which could have been as soon as 45 days after its general release - but now the studio has confirmed that it will become available on March 22.

From that date the movie can be downloaded from providers including iTunes and Sky Store, with a physical release on DVD, Blu-ray and Ultra HD Blu-ray following three weeks later on April 12.

The release will come with an additional 80 minutes of footage, including hidden "Easter eggs", deleted scenes and behind-the-scenes clips.
