Doctor Alex: "COVID-19 will not win"

Love Island's Doctor Alex provides a coronavirus update, declaring: "COVID-19 will not win".

Love Island alumnus Doctor Alex George has insisted that coronavirus "will not win" as the deadly disease continues to claim more lives.

Almost 38,000 people have died worldwide as a result of COVID-19, including 1,408 in the UK, and the toll is set to rise significantly in the weeks ahead.

George is continuing to work on the frontline during the pandemic and has provided regular updates to his followers on social media throughout the crisis.

In his latest post, George posed in his scrubs and a face mask, adding: "Covid-19 WILL NOT win. The NHS is SO resilient and we can and WILL do this.

"An update from the frontline, as well as the latest information on when widespread testing likely to occur, is live on my YouTube channel. Link is in bio."

Most of the UK population are currently in isolation in an effort to control the spread of the virus.
