EastEnders legend Dean Gaffney reportedly signs up for the new All-Stars spinoff edition of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

Former EastEnders star Dean Gaffney has reportedly signed up to take part in the upcoming spinoff of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The new show - hosted by Ant and Dec - will see some of the most memorable celebs from previous years competing in a series of challenges in a bid to be crowned the ultimate contestant.

According to The Sun, producers have now signed up Gaffney, 44, who originally took part in the 2006 series of I'm A Celeb, which was ultimately won by Busted's Matt Willis.

"Dean is regarded as one of the best contestants the show has ever had," a source told the newspaper. "When the All Stars show was first mooted he was a name that everyone wanted to get on board.

"It's taken some time but he's now signed on the dotted line and will be on the plane to South Africa with some other show greats. Everyone is chuffed."

The All-Stars series will be filmed later this summer for broadcast on ITV in early 2023.

Other rumoured names in the frame include Lady Colin Campbell, Helen Flanagan, Paul Burrell and Carol Vorderman.
