Theo Graham reportedly decides to exit his role as Hunter McQueen on Hollyoaks after eight years.

Hollyoaks star Theo Graham has decided to exit his role as Hunter McQueen, according to a report.

The actor joined the soap in 2016 and stayed for two years before making a shock return to the village in 2022 for the wedding of Hunter's twin brother Prince (Malique Thompson-Dwyer).

Around 20 cast members will be leaving the Channel 4 show in the coming months ahead of a reduction from five episodes a week to three in September - and according to The Sun, Graham will be among them.

Revealing that the character will be killed off, a source told the newspaper: "Theo knew when he returned in 2022 that he was only going to stay for a short stint.

"He made his decision a while ago and bosses were happy to come up with a fitting and final exit for him and Hunter.

"He's definitely missed on set and he loved his time at Hollyoaks but he can't wait to take on other roles again."

Graham is already said to have filmed his final scenes, which are due to air in the next couple of months.
