Check out eight brand new posters for The Crown season four ahead of its release on Netflix next month.

Netflix has released eight new posters ahead of the upcoming fourth season of The Crown.

The next season of the royal epic will chart The Queen's reign from the late 1970s and through the 1980s - a period which featured the marriage of her son and heir Prince Charles, the IRA assassination of her second cousin Lord Mountbatten and the Falklands War.

Season four - taglined "change will challenge tradition" - will also mark the debut of Gillian Anderson as the UK's first female prime minister, Margaret Thatcher, as well as Emma Corrin as Princess Diana.
