Returning EastEnders star Michelle Collins has hinted that there will be conflict to come between her character Cindy and Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell).
Cindy makes a sensational return to Walford this week, 25 years after she supposedly died in prison - whereas in reality she was put into the witness protection programme in exchange for informing on her cellmate.
During that time, her ex-husband Ian (Adam Woodyatt) became father to Bobby, who subsequently went on to accidentally kill his half-sister Lucy - Cindy and Ian's daughter and the twin sister of Peter (Thomas Law).
Now that Cindy is back on the scene, Bobby becomes worried that Cindy will resent him for what he did - and Collins has suggested that there is unfinished business between the pair.
"I can't tell you too much, but I must say I'm so lucky with my family," she said. "I've got Peter, who's played by Tom, and Bobby, who is played by Clay and they are just brilliant, I'm so lucky.
"It's difficult, that relationship. He did something and he paid for it, but it's hard for Cindy to understand that.
"These are the things that we're addressing and working through, but I have had some great scenes with Clay."
Collins went on to admit that she is unsure if her daughter Cindy Jr - last seen in 2015 - could also be making a comeback to the soap.
"I don't know," she added. "I can't really tell you too much about her but I know she is alive. That's about all I know. But possibly, who knows!"
