The BBC has revealed a first-look clip from tonight's highly-anticipated episode of EastEnders.

At the conclusion of last night's episode, the mystery of the identity of Rose - the 'missing' wife of George Knight (Colin Salmon) - was resolved as the character was revealed to be Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins), who had supposedly died 25 years ago.

The soap then confirmed recent rumours that Collins would be reprising her role as Cindy full-time, alongside Adam Woodyatt returning as Ian Beale after a few years away from Walford.

Tonight's episode will air on BBC One at 7.30pm for the first time, with the usual procedure of episodes being made available on iPlayer at 6am being dropped for the special occasion.
