Hallie Clarke is the third housemate to be voted off Big Brother.

Hallie Clarke has become the third housemate to be evicted from this year's Big Brother.

The 18-year-old received more public votes than fellow nominees Trish and Dylan, following Farida and Zak out of the door to reduce the group to 13 contestants at the halfway stage of the series.

"It's fine," she said after host AJ Odudu announced the result, before hugging each of her housemates in turn. "I love you all."

As BB reminded her that she had been evicted and needed to leave the house, she remarked sarcastically: "No shit, Sherlock."

Hallie then left the house to a rapturous reception from the crowd and was greeted by an embrace from her mother.

Asked afterwards why she thought she had been voted out, she replied: "I honestly have no idea. I think we're all strong characters and we all bring something to the table... but everything happens for a reason."

Big Brother continues Sunday night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
